This market is one of the major tourist attractions of the Amsterdam. The market is located on the Singel Canal between Muntplein and Koningsplein. The market has fifteen garden and florists shop; also, there are quite many souvenir shops.

You can find here whatever you can think of related to gardening. You can buy anything from packets of tulib bulbs to green-fingered accessories. The best part is that many of the flowers and seeds come with phytosanitary certificates; these certificates allow you to import these flowers back into your own country.

The best time to visit the Bloemenmarkt is early in the morning, as later the market tends to get very crowded. The market is open from 9 AM to 5.30 PM, Monday till Saturday. On Sunday, the market opens from 11 AM to 5.30 PM.
