In recent times, multiple series of concerts are held in Concertgebouw, and are attended every year by no less than 800,000 spectators. This makes it the second most popular concert hall across the world. Concertgebouw sees a total of 445 concerts held each year in the big hall called Grote Zaal in Dutch, and 390 in the Kleine Zall (small hall). From the month of September till June, every Wednesday, during lunch time, a free concert is held in the small hall, which anyone can attend free of cost.
