There is free Rijksmuseum exhibition for passengers in Schipol Airport; there is Concertgebouw where you can attend free classical concerts on every Wednesday, and you can also get a free ferry ride at the north side of Amsterdam Central station.

As far as Concertgebouw is concerned, it is a very big concert hall in Amsterdam. Concertgebouw stands for "concert building" in English. The building was built in the 19th century. The construction began somewhere in the year 1883, and it was opened for public on April 11, in the year 1888. The inaugural concert had 120 musicians and 500 chorus singers. In recent times, multiple series of concerts are held in Concertgebouw, and are attended every year by no less than 800,000 spectators. This makes it the second most popular concert hall across the world. Concertgebouw sees a total of 445 concerts held each year in the big hall called Grote Zaal in Dutch, and 390 in the Kleine Zall (small hall).

From the month of September till June, every Wednesday, during lunch time, a free concert is held in the small hall, which anyone can attend free of cost.

During other times, one is required to pay some entrance fees. The location address is Concertgebouwplein 2-6, Amsterdam. To reach this place you can take tram number 5, 16, 65 from Amsterdam central station to Museumplein. It is only one minute walk to the concert hall from here.
