For purposes of getting around the bike might seem the most tempting, but some of the busier streets are probably best avoided if you are not an experienced cyclist. Most of De Pijp is within walking distance of Museumplein, Vondelpark, and even Leidseplein. Shopping There's only one name you need to know for shopping in De Pijp: Albert Cuypstraat. If it's not available at a store or stall on this street, you've either missed it or it doesn't exist. The long open air market is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
